TAS is becoming more structured and professional haha. We're taking a more serious approach and we'll be doing our best to improve ourselves vocally and in posture and stage presence and in any way we can x)

In light of this paradigm shift, we've been having lots of random enrichment workshops sponsored by TAS. (Re: dance clinics, makeup workshops, dance workshop, beatboxing display etc). We'll also be implementing actual musical theory and we'll be properly certified for this so we're in for a promising year!

As part of these efforts, we'll be starting vocal training sessions on top of regular TAS sessions starting this Saturday, 26th Jan. Vocal training will be from 12pm - 1pm, and regular sessions will continue to run from 2pm - 5pm. For those who are unable to make it, it's okay, but if you have nothing on please try to come because it's a great way for us to learn more and get better at singing ;D Plus we'll get to see more of each other, haha.

1) Attendance:

Absent = 0 pts
Late w/o excuse = 0.5 pts
Late w excuse (not applicable to school events with prior acknowledgement)= 1 pts
On time = 2 pts

0-3 pts in one month will have their membership re-evaluated or terminated for on going programme.

*Point are award-based. Cool behaviour will be praised. True commitment of singers can be judged based on points accumulated per month

Musical Responsibility

C= for someone who does not know their work before hand
B= For >50% of section that do not know their work
A= For 100% knowledge or evident effort in learning of work. Cohesive section

*Grades are given based on individual and team spirit
** Grades are judged holistically
***Membership will be re-evaluated for some members with constant low grades.

Yep. This is the new point system. And for those who did not listen during our rehearsals, Jho will be the manager, and cindy will be the assistant manager.

And once again, I urge all of you to be on time for rehearsals, and learn all your stuff before you come for rehearsals =)

Heyy people. Just in case you haven't check your mail, or forgot after checking, here's some updates for our TAS Yv.

We will be having an point system to monitor our participation in the TAS Yv per month, for both individual and sectional. If you are below 2 points after the month ended, your membersip will be re-evaluated. Here are how the points are counted:

1) Individual

Failure to show up without valid reason, and did not inform before hand: 0 pts
Late without excuse: 0 pts
Late but with valid excuse : 0.5 pts
On time: 1 pts

2) Sectional

Cohesive team: 1 pts
Half cohesive team: 0.5 points
Everybody dunno their work team: 0 pts.

Therefore, with the point system, I hope everybody will be able to come on time for the rehearsals and of course learn your music before you attend the rehearsals. If you did not learn your music before you come to the session, as Jho says, It will not called a rehearsals. We do not have that much time for you to learn the music on the spot, therefore to make our session more effective, prepare your work before you came =)
